It’s all too easy to fool ourselves into thinking that it’s too late. Whether you’re 18, 25, 35, or 85. The truth is that it’s never too late. Your potential is always available to you. Your potential is always evolving.
Your own capacity for greatness – whether in business, family, love, or money – isn’t something to fear or a stick against which to be measured. It’s a calling, a coaxing, an ever present coach. It’s not something you “live up to” but something you can embrace & caress with your actions today.
No, you haven’t achieved all that you are capable of yet. If you had, you’d be dead! Don’t see the vastness of your own potential and fear the first step in a new direction. Look to your potential as a what you’re always reaching for.
Meanwhile, that potential you see pouring out of others? That doesn’t make you or your capability smaller. You can love others potential, too. You can play for the same team.
I love my own potential.
Do you?

Thanks so much for sharing this post. All too often folks will think that its too late to pursue their dreams…but it’s never too late..we are given a true potential and must never give up..
Your post made me think of my exercise trainer. Yesterday he said, “don’t think you are too old to achieve your goals” Think to yourself, in 2012 I can be the healthiest I have ever been.” It is so true and you just confirmed what has been burning in my heart since he said that. We are never too old to pursue our dreams! Never late age defy you! I am starting to dream BIG the older I get!
Blessings to you and thanks for sharing this post.
What a great post and reminder to us all that it is never too late to go after our dreams and goals! I once read a quote that stated “if you are still breathing, your still have a mission to fulfill.” Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Yes, spot on. It’s never too late to reach your potential. Like you were saying, regardless of our age, our potential is always available to us. That’s what we were brought on this earth to do.
Each and every one of us has a special gift that we can contribute that can make a profound and lasting impact. The question is…tapping into yourself and discovering it…and then taking action.
I love the fact that you help others tap into this. All the best. ~ Edmund
Wonderful post!! I loved this – Potential: It’s not something you “live up to” but something you can embrace & caress with your actions today. Fantastic, fresh and new!! I will be pondering this until I ‘get it’!!
When I turned forty I suddenly had an awareness of time….I was getting “old” and still had so much yet to do in my life. In fact, I was just beginning to understand life. At 44, I still struggle some days feeling that time is too short and I’m simply too old. But….I think again and remind myself that the truth is, the best is still too come. All I have to do is embrace the potential one decision, one day at a time!
YAY! So happy for this great reminder. Thanks for sharing
It’s never too late!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for reminding us that’s it’s never too late to reach for our goals and dreams.
I love this! When I turned 50, I realized that I hadn’t even really tapped into my true potential. I then embraced who I was and tapped into my potential full speed! {NO speed limits!} In the past 3 years, I feel have been blessed in so many ways, that at times I want to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming, but then realized I am living my dreams! Thank you and Happy New Year!
