You may have not even noticed. You were just wondering along and poof, you noticed you were in this deep pit of debt. Somewhere along the line, life was happening. You thought you were being smart. You planned on using debt to help you in your time of need. One day you took a look around and noticed, you were in a hole. A hole that looked like it was too deep to get out of. A hole that you’re not sure how you got in and a hole that is now just part of life.
You have two options. Stay in the hole and accept it as part of life. Continually digging deeper, never reaching the surface, or you can climb. Climbing is tough. It will take work to climb. You may even slip a little, getting a little bruised as you climb. But, if you climb, and continue to climb, keep climbing even when you don’t feel like it, you’ll start to notice that with every ounce of energy you put in to climbing that the top of the hole gets a little closer. If you continue to work at it, one step, on climb at a time, one day you will reach the top of the hole. You will climb out. You will be free of that financial bondage. You’ll see the bright sun again, you’ll be able to look around and see how wonderful life is outside the hole.
You can sit in your hole and hear words by great financial advisers like Vertical Vision, Dave Ramsey, Larry Burkett, Suze Orman, but if you do nothing, nothing will happen. Just sitting and hearing great advise does nothing. You need to get up and take action!
Take action now. Stop digging deeper. Stop sitting in the hole thinking there is no way out. There is a way out! You just need to start climbing, one step at a time.
